The supermodels of the 1990s, Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington Burns,Linda Evangelista and Claudia Schiffer are considered to be even more influential than music artists and movie stars of that time.

Many girls looked up to them and dreamt to be like them, while men dreamt of spending even one day with one of these five supermodels. These women have been an inspiration for many models that followed them, in both modelling careers and what to do after you reach a certain age.

The supermodels have put their extended knowledge of modelling to good use and created or helped in creating some of the world’s best modelling shows such as House of Style and The Face.

While some may argue that Kate Moss (featured in the Best Models to pose for Playboy http://6toplists.com/best-models-in-playboy/) is one of the original Supermodels, she was just at the start of the career when Campbell, Crawford, Turlington, Evangelista or Schiffer were walking the runway for Versace or Dolce & Gabbana.
