Singer Katy Perry, age 35, and actress Zooey Deschanel, age 35, could switch places for a day and see if anyone can tell the difference. Their big anime eyes and dark bangs had got their fans confused several times. And it’s not only their facial features, but also their pretty girl styles that makes us even more confused. But it’s not always just fun and laughter for actress Zooey. It seems that the “New Girl” star is getting quite tired of being confused with the “Roar” singer.
Being famous before the “Katy Perry-hysteria” started, Zooey didn’t show herself quite enthusiastic about the constant comparison, saying: “It’s a little bit annoying, to be totally blunt. The only similarity that we have is that we look a little bit alike,” she laughed. “I have met her before. She seems like a nice person. I’m happy that she’s famous enough now that she’s not going out and being mistaken for me.”
Zooey’s debut
Zooey made her debut in the movie “Mumford” and got recognition since the movie “Almost Famous”, in 2000. Since then the actress has been very active in her acting career, starring in movies such as: “The Good Girl”, “Bridge to Terabithia”, “Yes Man” and “(500) Days of Summer”.
In 2011 she became the “New Girl” in the Fox comedy series. Zooey is in a relationship with producer Jacob Pechenik and recently announced they are expecting their first child.

As for Katy Perry, she got called the “bad twin” or the “porn star” version of Zooey. We all know Katy since her debut with the song “I Kissed a Girl” in 2008 and since then the pop star never took a break.
