The Lykan HyperSport is the first supercar that was manufactured in the Arab Emirates. This vehicle was showed to the masses at the International Qatar Motor Show on July 28, 2013. W Motors only wants to release 7 units of the Lykan HyperSport supercar. Just like most of the other supercars on the list, the Lykan HyperSport is also a vehicle that looks out of this world. The design of this car is astonishing and very futuristic. This monster of a car was created with only the best materials available for money; it even has diamond incrusted LED headlights! The proud owners of this model are able to request other precious stones to decorate their car too, such as yellow diamonds, sapphires, emeralds and rubies.
The carbon-fiber body ensures that anybody who looks at this beast of a vehicle knows that it is no joke. Also, when they hear the engines, they are literally going to soil themselves. 2. Lamborghini Veneno Roadster
- Manufacturer: Lamborghini
- Engine: V12, 60°, MPI
- Production: 2013 (9 units)
- Price: $4,500,000
The Lamborghini Veneno Roadster was initially showcased at the 50th anniversary Automobili Lamborghini celebration at the Geneva Motor Show in 2013. This car is quite rare due to the fact that it is one of the strongest street-legal supercars on the market right now. The exterior and the performance of the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster closely resembles a prototype racecar that you would see on car shows. Unfortunately, it is not very likely that you are going to see this masterpiece of a car passing you by, because of the limited amount of models that are available, as well as the $4,500,000 price tag.
The Roadster version of the Lamborghini Veneno closely resembles its predecessor in its looks. Both of these vehicles look extremely good and futuristic, but the designers at Lamborghini decided to cut the roof off of the Roadster. This gives it an even more aggressive and stylish look; not that it needed it! All of the Roadster’s exterior design is made from carbon fiber and most of the interior is made from this material too. This makes the model easily recognizable, regardless of where you lay your eyes on it.
The Lamborghini Veneno Roadster is also quite impressive if we take a closer look at its technical specifications. For example, it has a V12, 60°, MPI engine, 750 horsepower, natural aspiration and sequential fuel injection. The Lamborghini Veneno Roadster has carbon-ceramic brakes with fixed calipers monoblock in aluminum, electronic stability control system, hydraulic assisted power steering and electrically operated external mirrors. The measurements of the Roadster are the following: 5020 mm length, 2075 mm width and 1165 mm in height. The max speed of the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster is 221 mph and it can speed up from 0-60 mph in only 2.9 seconds.

- Engine: 9 L 5,908 cc (361 cu in) Twin-turbocharged V12
- Production: 2005 (1 unit)

The last entry on our list is the most expensive, as well as the rarest supercar in the world. There’s only one model of the Mercedes-Benz Maybach Exelero and it costs a mind-boggling $8,000,000. This makes the Maybach Exelero truly one-of-a-kind. The car was unveiled in 2005 at the Tempodrom in Berlin. It is a 2-door coupé, but I bet you have never seen anything like this car. The first thought that raced to my mind when I first saw this masterpiece of a car was “Batmobile!” And if you take a look at the picture below, you can see that it does resemble the vehicle of the Caped Crusader!
The Mercedes-Benz Maybach Exelero is by no means the most powerful or the fastest car on this list, but it is in fact the most expensive one. Since there’s only one model available, this makes the Maybach Exelero officially the rarest supercar that was ever manufactured. Wondering who might be the proud owner of this exclusive vehicle? Well, according to a 2012 report, the last known owner of the only Maybach Exelero was the Mechatronik company (a specialists for Mercedes-Benz classic cars) and it was located in Germany.
Some of the specifications of this luxury supercar: it has 700 horsepower, twin turbocharger aspiration, 522 kw power and 1020 nm torque. The length of the Maybach Exelero is 5890 mm, it is 2140 mm wide and around 1390 mm in height. The top speed of the Exelero is 218 mph and it can go from 0-60 mph in around 4.4 seconds. As you can see the list isn’t called the fastest supercars, but rather the most expensive supercars. And there is no denying that the Mercedes-Benz Maybach Exelero is by far the most expensive car on the market right now!
