6th: Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries
You would presume that $10 million worth a wedding, three costume changes and a four hour footage of television special would make people stay together and work out any differences, but not these two.
Irreconcilable differences
Kim and Kris lasted only 72 days. Kim’s filling for divorce stated that she had “irreconcilable differences” with her pro-basketball player. But no worries, the whole footage was played as the queen of reality stars and the Kardashians intend to: on TV of course. After all, there is no such thing as bad publicity for Kim, right?
Kim’s Fairytale Wedding
Kim’s short marriage is one of the most infamous, being part of a two-day special on the E! Show “Kim’s Fairytale Wedding”. Although Kim made a statement after she announced her divorce, saying: “After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this is not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don’t work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best.”
Kris also made himself a statement saying: “I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce. I’m committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make it work.”
Kim another references
Was it for the money? Well Kim comes from a really wealthy family and she’s making enough money out of her reality show and…sex-tapes. Nevertheless her actions usually gets her more contracts. So was it for publicity?
I think by now it’s safe to say that everything Kim does contributes to her title as a “Famous person”. Literally that is her reference in Hollywood’s today elite. 5th:Pamela Anderson and Rick Salomon
Pamela’s relationship have always made it to the headlines and her on and off relationship with Rick Salmon still gets even today in the scandal news.
Friends with Benefits
She first told Ellen DeGeneres that she will get engaged to Rick on the show in 2007. They got married in a small ceremony in Las Vegas but the marriage lasted only 60 days, Pamela citing fraud in the court. The Baywatch star then told in “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in 2013 that she and Salmon are now “friends with benefits”. And in 2014 she announced that they got married again on an unspecified date.
Rekindle the romance
Even though they tried to rekindle their romance after 7 years, the marriage didn’t last. When they first got back together she said that they were happy. ”Our families are very happy and that’s all that matters.”
Apparently second time is not a charm. After only 6 months they got divorced again, Pamela saying: “I love being in love – but expectations, make it impossible to be happy – or satisfied. No man knows what to do with me – I blame myself.”
Paris Hilton’s sex tape
Rick Salmon is famous for co-starring in Paris Hilton’s sex tape. Friends of Rick say about their relationship that he is too nice for Pamela. In this case “irreconcilable differences” is the exact reason why these two split after less than 10 weeks the first time.

4th:Mario Lopez and Ali Landry
After six years of relationship, “Saved by The Bell” star Mario Lopez and model Ali Landry decided to tie the knot. In their case it wasn’t a rushed decision but it was Mario’s infidelity that led them into a divorce almost two weeks later.
Separating after seven years
Mario recently confessed to the public their real reason for separating after seven years. Why did the host went on and married Ali anyway? “There was nothing glaringly wrong on paper: I thought, ‘She’s beautiful, she’s a good girl, she comes from a great family, she’d make a great mom…I confused cold feet with not being ready.”
The hunky host
The hunky host cheated on her on his bachelor party, Ali heard rumors just the night before the wedding, confronted him but he swore there was no truth in the allegations. “My little voice inside me was telling me that there’s something going on,” she admitted on Oprah’s Show.
So they went on with the wedding until a couple of weeks later when pictures from the night of Mario’s infidelity surfaced out. Looks like Mario wasn’t “saved by the bell” that time. Trying to explain his behavior back then, Mario claims “I was not ready to settle down. I wasn’t man enough to know how to go about handling it.”
Life after divorce
Former Miss USA has went through a terrible time since the divorce trying to cope with the situation of already getting a divorce but when she finally spoke up about the marriage she said: “It’s not about me putting the blame on him, it’s about for me how a woman can move on from a situation like that in her life in a positive way.”
Ali is now married to film director Alejandro Monteverde for eight years and has three children together.
Mario got the reputation
So Mario Lopez got the reputation of a cheat, Ali was side swept a long time after the incident having said that Mario didn’t apologized or admitted the infidelity till this day. Although he went public about it, Ali is now happy that she broke-up with him because she believes this was she would have never met her current husband whom she loves so much.
As for Mario, he has settled down with actress Courtney Mazza having a relationship of two years and a daughter. “It worked out well,” he said. “Thank god, because I got a great girl now.”
