MCU. Marvel Cinematic Universe. Boy, you guys are in for a ride. Phase 3, out of a total of 4 Phases, will be the 3rd phase of the MCU after Phases 2 and 1. Supreme.
The first set of films (A.K.A Phase 1) makes an introduction to the core characters like Iron-Man, Thor, Cpt. America and the main universe. It also introduces us to organizations such as S.H.I.E.L.D. and HYDRA. The main story of the first phase revolves around an alien artifact called the Tesseract.
On Phase 2 we move on exploring a little bit more in depth the MCU and focus on the aftermath of the battle of New York; mostly what the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D are up to. It also introduces the Guardians of the Galaxy and better explains the origin of the Infinity Stones all culminating in the rise and fall of Ultron.
Now we were getting to the main bit of our top 6 upcoming Marvel movies. The 3rd Phase is set during a time of uncertainty generated by Ultron’s attack on Earth and the division that was created in its aftermath among the humans about their superheroes. This block in the road fragments the Avengers. Among this intense turmoil in the Main Marvel Universe, new characters are introduced; The Sorcerer Supreme: Dr. Strange, the “Merc with a Mouth”: Deadpool and The (New) Incredible 4.
