6. Shazam (2019)
Although we still have to wait for almost four years from now on to see this film, Shazam is considered to be one of the most anticipated DC movies in history. The date of release was settled on March 9, 2019.
We still don’t know who is going to assume directing this movie, but it will be done after a screenplay by Bill Birch, Geoff Johns and Darren Lemke. Still, we know that Dwayne Johnson decided to take the leading “bad” role in the movie, picturing Black Adam. He confirmed it on his Twitter account and he declared for Associated Press that he is a great fan of anti-heroes characters and his favorite is Black Adam (first an archeologist who transforms into an Egyptian origins creature and becomes Shazam’s worst enemy, his abilities are similar to those owned by the superhero: he can fly, he is strong, he can manipulate electricity and he can work on magic).
Shazam is actually the story of a boy, Billy Batson who is gifted by the wizard Shazam with special powers in order to fight the evil forces. The initials are strongly related to real heroes in the history: Solomon, Hercules, Atlas, Zeus, Achilles and Mercury. All their powers gathered in Billy transform him into Captain Marvel.
5. Aquaman (2018)
This action, adventure, SF film is going to be released on July 27, 2018. We know there’s kind of much to wait until then, but we have some details also on this superhero most expected film in order to really turn your interest and expectations on.
James Wan, director of blockbuster Fast and Furious 7, also decided to work on Aquaman, but also on Robotech. The screenplay of Aquaman is credited to Kurt Johnstad and the main role is going to be pictured by Jason Momoa. He started acting in the end of 1980s with the Baywatch Hawaii series and then had roles in Games of Thrones, Stargate: Atlantis and Conan the Barbarian.
Unfortunately, as there is still a long time to wait for this movie, the plot is unknown for the moment. The superhero made his first appearance in 1941, in More Fun Comics, a DC Comics publication and was created by Paul Norris and Mort Weisinger.

Wonder Woman is one of the most appreciated superhero girls and she is going to show up on screens on June 23, 2017. The beautiful Amazon princess with super powers is awaited by all the superheroes films fans who are really excited to see a … somehow different movie, but following the usual steps and features.
Director Patty Jenkins is leading the action at the shooting for Wonder Woman, following the screenplay written by Jason Fuchs. The leading actress of the film is Gal Gadot, an Israeli beautiful actress known by the audiences for the roles Gisele in the Fast and Furious series.
The actress says she’s taking her role very serious and she wants “to shine and inspire people”. Actually, she is going to be the Wonder Woman not only in the film with the same name, but we’ll see her sooner in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, while rumors are also about seeing her in the pair of Justice Leagues, also really anticipated DC movies.
