There have been many time travel movie lists made on the internet and in magazines, but what sets ours Top list apart from the rest is that we will be focusing ONLY on time travel centered movies, without the time-dramas or time-comedies.For those, we might make a different Top 10 list in the near future.
Old vs. New Time Travel Movies
In this Top 10 we shall be meeting some of our old favorite character: the wacky duo Marty McFly and Dr. Brown, and also the awesome yet terrifying and almost impossible to kill (you have to be alive to die) Terminator.
We shall also be including new movies that recently came out and blew our minds away from the likes of “The Almanac Project” which is in the very popular style of “found footage” to “Predestination” a not so well known underdog of the time travel genre.
And not to worry for the indie genre lovers, we have also included “Primer”, and added to our little collection the mind fuck, brain twisting film “Twelve Monkeys”.
In our list we have also included a classic “oldie”, adapted after H.G. Wells’ novel with the same name “The Time Machine”. And let’s not forget about the haunting and spine chilling time thriller “The Butterfly Effect” starring Ashton Kutcher. We hope you enjoy our top 10 Time Travel Movies.
