Lindsay Lohan, 28 is probably what we would call a wild child. She is one of the child stars that had a lot of ups and downs in her career, but overall we could say that celebrity really affected her. She first enjoyed success when she was only 11 years old in the movie The Parent Trap.
After a break from the acting career in which she continued her studies, she came back to Hollywood to act in the movie Freaky Friday with co-star actress Jamie Lee Curtis in 2003. Her popularity came from the movie Mean Girls in 2005 that is even today all girls favorite movie. For both of the movies she won an MTV Movie Award and a Teen Choice Award.
Personal life
Jail, reckless driving, alcohol and generally legal issues were always the half of the sentences in tabloids for Lindsay. In 2007 she was sentenced with 90 days of inpatient rehab treatment and jail but served them incomplete. Because of her new reputation, Lindsay lost a lot of movie deals.
Lindsay’s personal life was also in the attention of the press, when she got in a lesbian relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson in 2008 which lasted over a year.
In 2006, she dated Harry Morton, owner of the restaurant chain, Pink Taco, and son of former Hard Rock Cafe chain owner, Peter Morton, in 2006, and British TV personality, Calum Best, 26, in 2007.
Playboy
She appeared in Playboy in 2012 in a nude pictorial as Marilyn Monroe for which she received mixed reviews. She starred as Elisabeth Taylor in the biographical made-for-television movie Liz & Dick but her performance was described as “adequate”.
Falling star
Lindsay’s recent attempts on bringing back to life her career had failed, although she is still making short appearances in sitcoms such as 2 Broke Girls, her performance is still characterized as “so-so” or “compelling”.
So will this falling star will ever make her big comeback or it is too late for her? We still hope to see the talented actress to rise once again on the big screen.
