Also known as The Detours or The High Numbers, this English band started in 1964 originally as a traditional jazz group. After the love for rock music made the members change the style and also the title as The Who was more suitable because it “had a pop punch”, it was only a matter of time until they got noticed by the right people and became a hit.
Out of the original members, The Who still has Roger Daltrey as a multi-tasking vocalist, guitarist and drummer, Pete Townshend by guitar and keyboards. While they have collaborated with other musicians to replace some members due to their departure from this world, the best drummer and the best bass player will forever remain Keith Moon and John Entwistle.

It all started in 1962 with the friendship, a garage band and meeting the right man with the right advertisement and venues. So it was born one of the most legendary bands in the world. Currently composed of founders lead vocalist, piano and guitar player Mick Jagger and guitar and bass player Keith Richards, but also Charlie Watts as drummer and Ronnie Wood as guitarist, The Rolling Stones is younger and fresher than ever and set on tour for 2016.
The Golden Boys
Assimilating various styles – including jazz, country, blues and reggae – in order to make their own specific The Rolling Stones sound, the band not only became influential on other artists, but it also inspired the pop culture magazine, Rolling Stone, in choosing its name, slowly growing together and becoming a name in the industry. During its 53 year long career, The Rolling Stones has released 29 albums, plus 13 live ones, 57 music videos and 109 singles, as well as almost as many tours as their years of activity.

When we say Pink Floyd, everyone has in mind the modern remix of We don’t need no education by Eric Prydz as well as the famous cover featuring light passing through a prism becoming a rainbow, but few people do know anything about the English band.
Formed in 1965 by a group of student – Syd Barrett, Nick Mason, Roger Waters and Richard Wright – this progressive, psychedelic and art rock band started as an underground group, until it attracted the attention of influential people and ended up signing with EMI.What followed was an international success.
A Chapter in the Rock Encyclopedia
Ones of the first English psychedelic musicians, or space rock as others might call it, with influences from country, folk, blues and electronic music, Pink Floyd is definitely one band to remember in the history of music.
With 15 albums and 27 singles, composers for the soundtrack of The Committee, More, Zabriskie Point, La Vallee and on tour for around 22 times, Pink Floyd might not be the richest band, but it surely made itself remarkable amongst the others.
Memorable
To mention their best sold and acclaimed albums, we have the famous The Dark Side of the Moon (1973), whose dark themes were inspired by Syd Barrett’s poor mental state, The Wall (1979), a rock opera exploring abandonment and isolation issues, Wish You Were Here (1975), inspired by their European tours, and The Endless River (2014), their swan song album in which they said goodbye to the stage. The most memorable songs are Comfortably Numb, Wish You Were Here, Shine On You Crazy Diamond, The Great Gig in Sky and of course Another Brink in The Wall (Part II), the actual song about not needing education.
