6. Batman Begins (2005)<\/h2>\n

\"Batman\u201cThey told me there was nothing out there, nothing to fear. But the night my parents were murdered I caught a glimpse of something. I’ve looked for it ever since. I went around the world, searched in all the shadows. And there is something out there in the darkness, something terrifying, something that will not stop until it gets revenge… Me<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

When he was small, Bruce Wayne fell into a well where he was attacked by a lot of bats and after the attack he remains with a phobia towards them. Shortly afterwards, witnessed the killing of his parents by the thief Joe Chill and Bruce remains with his butler Alfred Pennyworth<\/a> who was considered family. 14 years later, Chill is on parole in exchange for testimony against the biggest mafia in the city of Gotham, Carmine Falcone. Bruce went to trial with the intention to killing Chill, but one of Falcone’s men did it before him.<\/p>\n

Then Bruce discusses with Falcone who tells him that real power comes from fear. Bruce decides to travel and learn more and more about the underworld before and he has to become one of them. In a prison in southern Asia, Henri Ducard offers to instruct him in the art of camouflage and fear as a member of the “League of Shadows”<\/em> led by Ra’s al Ghul. After completing their training, Bruce learns that the true intention of the League is to destroy Gotham city, which they considered so corrupt that it cannot be saved.<\/p>\n

He refuses to join in this endeavor and burned the temple to the ground. Ra’s is trapped in the ruins of the temple and dies, while Bruce saves Ducard, who remained unconscious, and leave it in the care of local people. Some time later, Bruce returns to Gotham. Despite its public image of spoiled playboy, he is interested in his family’s company, Wayne Enterprises, which is now led by rookie William Earle scruples.<\/p>\n

Bruce meets the most important scientist of the company, Lucius Fox, which shows several technological prototypes including Tumbler<\/a> (armored car) and armor. Once he takes these things and after he faces his fear of bats, he takes the identity of Batman<\/a> and starts a war against organized crime in Gotham City.<\/p>\n
