3rd: Bad Teacher<\/h2>\n

While this movie might not<\/strong> have the same load of life changing lessons <\/a>as the previous two, it still sketches a teacher<\/strong> who, in her own ways<\/strong>, tries to help<\/strong> her students achieve academic success.<\/p>\n

The story<\/h3>\n

We sort of set off with the wrong foot<\/strong> with the image of the teacher<\/strong> when it comes to this movie, as Elizabeth Halsey is foul-mouthed, ruthless<\/strong>, and inappropriate<\/strong>, a teacher<\/strong> who doesn’t care<\/strong> at all about her job<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"CameronThings heat up at school when a new<\/strong> and apparently rich teacher<\/strong> called Scott, appears<\/strong> on the scene and this triggers a duel<\/strong> between Elizabeth and another teacher<\/strong>, Amy Squirrel, for his affections. There’s plenty of good stuff<\/strong> here and the writer is out on exactly how funny<\/strong> Diaz<\/a> really is. She gives the part everything she’s got.<\/p>\n

Selfish plans<\/h3>\n

While Elizabeth is only driven by<\/strong> her own selfish plans<\/strong>, she sounds like the kind of teacher<\/strong> someone might like to have<\/strong> at their school, at least in theory.<\/p>\n

She tries to raise money<\/strong> by attending her class` car wash in provocative clothing <\/a>and does everything<\/strong> in her power in order to earn<\/strong> the bonus<\/strong> her school gives to the teacher of the class<\/strong> with the highest test scores, even stealing<\/strong> the state test answers and give them to her students.<\/p>\n

Despite none of the major characters being a student, Elizabeth<\/strong> is seen interacting<\/strong> on a personal level with one of them, to whom she gives advice<\/strong>. The kid had an unrequited crush on the superficial popularity<\/strong> queen of his class and this incident causes her to reflect on how she<\/strong> has been superficial as well<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Why is this movie in here?<\/h3>\n

Sure Elizabeth<\/strong> isn`t the role model<\/strong> that we expect in a teacher, but she is that breath of fresh air<\/strong> every student needs from time to time. As this high-school satire<\/strong> stars Cameron Diaz, you know you are bound to laugh your head off<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
