I dare to say it was <strong>almost as enjoyable as Pulp Fiction<\/strong>. My expectations were blown away.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Kung Fu Hustle - Trailer\" width=\"625\" height=\"352\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-m3IB7N_PRk?feature=oembed&#038;wmode=opaque\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Director<\/strong> Stephen Chow, through this film, <strong>pays homage to all those Hong Kong Martial Arts Cinema<\/strong>, <a href=\"http:\/\/6toplists.com\/enter-the-dragon-2\/\" target=\"_blank\">Bruce Lee<\/a> and the action genre in general.<\/p>\n<h3>About the movie<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-17922 size-medium\" title=\"Kung fu Hustle movie scene\" src=\"http:\/\/6toplists.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/KungFuHustle-Still7-300x195.jpg\" alt=\"funny movie scene kung fu hustle\" width=\"300\" height=\"195\" \/><\/h3>\n<p>There&#8217;s always been a certain \u201ccheesiness\u201d to Hong Kong cinema, but on rare occasions a <strong>writer or director<\/strong> will directly tap a nerve and somehow<strong> reach to captivate your attention<\/strong>: &#8216;Kung Fu Hustle&#8217; is one of those films.<\/p>\n<p><strong>From kung fu showdowns to dance sequences<\/strong> featuring tuxedoed mobsters, <strong>you&#8217;ve never seen a martial arts action movie like this one<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p>With <strong>jaw-dropping fight sequences<\/strong> <strong>by<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=0jreg4e-lXY\" target=\"_blank\"> Yeun Wo Ping <\/a>(choreographer of Kill Bill Vol.1 &amp; 2 and The Matrix) Kung Fu Hustle <strong>will blow you away<\/strong>! And the <strong>action was deliberately over the top<\/strong>, which was complimented by some pretty decent CGI work.<\/p>\n<h3>Self-parody<\/h3>\n<div id=\"quote_shortcode\" class=\"sixtop-post-quote post-quote-right\" >\n<div class=\"quote-sign-box hidden-on-desktop\"><\/div>\n<p>        &ldquo; This is the best Chinese comedy kung fu movie &rdquo;<\/p>\n<div id=\"quote_shortcode_after\">\n        <\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>This <strong>movie<\/strong> had us belly-laughing, it <strong>was so funny<\/strong>! <strong>It is like a<\/strong> \u201c<strong>self-parody<\/strong>\u201d of itself. It<strong> mixes fantasy<\/strong>, <strong>comedy<\/strong>, and <strong>great action sequences<\/strong> very well and has a almost magical feel to it.<strong> We found it<\/strong> unconventional, touching, and <strong>absolutely hilarious<\/strong>. Almost anyone who could have had heroic qualities attributed to them did <strong>not fit<\/strong> the &#8220;<strong>normal<\/strong>&#8221; <strong>stereotyped model<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve never seen a Chinese action comedy film before, and are used to Jackie Chan films, you may not know what to make of this film.<\/p>\n<h3>Bit of everything<\/h3>\n<p>This <strong>movie has everything<\/strong>&#8212;<strong>comedy<\/strong>,<strong> drama<\/strong>, unimaginable action, slap-stick, <strong>great acting<\/strong>, a <strong>great story<\/strong>, wildly silly absurdity, an actual theme, a touch of poetry, and genuine soul. <strong>In a true Hong Kong style<\/strong>, it has a bit of everything.<\/p>\n<p>In our opinion<strong> this is the best Chinese comedy kung fu movie<\/strong> yet to be made.
