One of the best written romantic comedies in decades happens to have a Christmas theme. Eight storylines collide in this touching, funny, and highly entertaining look at love, lust, loss, and relationships. Starring <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0000424\/\" target=\"_blank\">Hugh Grant <\/a>as the <strong>British Prime Minister<\/strong>,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0461136\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Keira Knightley<\/a> as a <strong>new brid<\/strong>e, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0000553\/\" target=\"_blank\">Liam Neeson<\/a> as a <strong>newly widowed father<\/strong> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0631490\/\" target=\"_blank\">Bill Nighy<\/a>\u00a0as an aging r<strong>ock star<\/strong>, Love Actually has a lot of heart and a lot of engaging characters to get into.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Love Actually (2003) - Official Trailer\" width=\"625\" height=\"352\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/KdzH6a-XEGM?feature=oembed&#038;wmode=opaque\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>This was a <strong>most intriguing film<\/strong>. We loved the film and the way that all the stories were intertwined. It snap-shots the important events leading to the resolution of the couples involved, nothing more. If you want a <strong>classic romantic film<\/strong>, this might not be the film for you. It&#8217;s not trying to be the meaning of life, it&#8217;s not trying to look at the big picture. It takes place in England and France during the Christmas season. Hugh Grant plays the unmarried Prime Minister of the UK, <strong>who falls in love<\/strong> with Martine McCutcheon. All of the love stories show <strong>the serious and foolish sides of love<\/strong>. The movie has the dry sense of British humor in places, but there are some hilarious parts. It might be a little hard to follow, because it jumps around showing a <strong>small scene of one love story then another<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This movie does come off as a bit shallow, and it contains characters who are one dimensional caricatures of themselves.
