It basically has all of the greatest bits of your favorite Christmas movie, all rolled into one. Plus, some boobs and a scene where a guy snorts cocaine off a desk and says, &#8220;I was just making a phone call.&#8221; A classic &#8217;80s move.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Die Hard - Official\u00ae Trailer [HD]\" width=\"625\" height=\"352\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/2TQ-pOvI6Xo?feature=oembed&#038;wmode=opaque\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\nAll though the movie doesn\u2019t have a whole lot to do with Christmas, it is just as moralistic and uplifting as <a href=\"http:\/\/6toplists.com\/what-a-wonderful-life\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>&#8220;It&#8217;s a Wonderful Life\u201d <\/em><\/a>where a man is reconnected with the things that are really important in life, just like John McClane. And just like <a href=\"http:\/\/6toplists.com\/home-alone\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>\u201cHome Alone\u201d<\/em><\/a>, in which a child is left alone in a house to fight off petty burglars, McClane does the exact same thing except he does it using a machine <strong>gun and C4 explosives<\/strong> instead of wacky traps and crazy pranks.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-14226 size-full\" title=\"Bruce Willis in Die Hard movie. Movie poster\" src=\"http:\/\/6toplists.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/diehardposter.jpg\" alt=\"die hard movie with bruce willis\" width=\"256\" height=\"379\" srcset=\"https:\/\/6toplists.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/diehardposter.jpg 256w, https:\/\/6toplists.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/diehardposter-203x300.jpg 203w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 256px) 100vw, 256px\" \/>And let\u2019s be honest, it\u2019s not just another Christmas, one could claim that <em><strong>&#8220;Die Hard&#8221;<\/strong><\/em> is also one of the most influential action movies ever made because it basically revolutionized one of the most copied formulas: a loner, by some unique twist of fate, battles it out with an &#8220;x&#8221; number of terrorists in an enclosed environment.<\/p>\n<p>By the time that Die Hard was released, the action movies were most often dominated by the likes of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0000216\/\" target=\"_blank\">Arnold Schwarzenegger<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0000230\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sylvester Stallone<\/a>, and<a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0001569\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Chuck Norris<\/a>. Bruce Willis was an unlikely choice for the role of the hero <strong>&#8220;John McClane&#8221;<\/strong> &#8211; since he didn&#8217;t have any action credits on his resume and the bulging biceps required for a role like this. But that&#8217;s the beauty of his performance in this movie: he&#8217;s an everyday guy, caught in a not-so-everyday situation.<\/p>\n<p>On Christmas, McClane&#8217;s estranged wife <strong>Holly<\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0000889\/\" target=\"_blank\">Bonnie Bedelia<\/a>) invites him from New York all the way out to Los Angeles to spend the holidays with the family. But it requires him to make a stop at the Nakatomi offices, which is having an after-hours Christmas party.<\/p>\n<p>At Nakatomi, things get off to a rough start for McClane, as he gets into an argument with his wife. However, those problems are about to take a backseat to the real &#8220;party&#8221; &#8211; twelve terrorists, led by Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman) &#8211; seize control of the <strong>building and proceed<\/strong> to rob the Nakatomi buildings safe.
