They went on to date other Hollywood elites, before realizing the inevitable.<\/p>\n<h3>Previous relationships of &#8220;Van Wilder&#8221; and &#8220;Serena van der Woodsen&#8221;<\/h3>\n<p>Ryan Reynolds got his notoriety from his leading role in the movie National Lampoon\u2019s Van Wilder but mostly from his superheroes appearances. From a vampire hunter to Deadpool to Green Lantern, Ryan Reynolds made his way in the Hollywood by great roles but by relationships also. Ryan\u2019s former relationships were with Canadian artist Alanis Morissette, whom he started dating in 2002 and in 2004 was engaged with. In 2007 they ended their engagement and soon after started dating actress Scarlett Johansson which he also married in 2008 but after two years they announced they had separated.<\/p>\n<p>The dazzling Blake Lively made her debut in The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants and made her name known from the hit teen drama Gossip Girl. She also got featured in the annual Time magazine 100 influential people in 2011 and was named the most desirable woman of 2011 by AskMen.com.<\/p>\n<p>Blake has been dating her Gossip Girl co-star Penn Badgley in 2007 and in 2008 they made it official. After a year of dating, Ryan and Blake surprised everyone by buying a house together and secretly marrying in Charleston, South Carolina.
