Christy came to be known to the world of wrestling after winning the 2004 WWE Diva Search ($250.000 prize money and a one year contract with WWE).<\/p>\n

In her childhood, Christy described herself as more of a tomboy, with great interest in wrestling and dirt bikes. Christy\u2019s major at Mt. San Jacinto College was in dancing, after being a cheerleader for two years at Temecula Valley High School.<\/p>\n

Although her main interest seemed to be dancing, Christy wanted to pursue a career in modelling. That\u2019s why she moved to Los Angeles after her graduation. There, she joined a burlesque dance team known as the \u201cPurrfect Angelz\u201d with whom she performed at Harley motorcycle rallies and Easyrider tours.<\/p>\n

The next step Christy Hemme took was to pose for magazines such as Maxim, Playboy and Rolling Stones and to make appearances in music videos such as: Trace Adkins\u2019 \u201cChrome\u201d and \u201cHonky Tonk Badonkadonk\u201d, in Blink-182 and Sonic videos.<\/p>\n

Christy made the transition to wrestling after winning the 2004 WWE Diva Search competition. Her career as a wrestler began on Raw, as part of its roster. A feud with the runner-up of the Diva Search competition, Carmelia DeCesare, led to a \u201clingerie pillow fight\u201d with Christy coming out as winner:<\/p>\n
