Tennis is one of the most popular sports in the world and is an Olympic sport played both in singles and doubles at any levels.

As a kid, i grew up playing tennis in the 90s, which was a great time for the sport. It was around that time that the sport of tennis became more of a mainstream sport than a sport for the privileged, especially since it is known as “the game of rich people”. With the likes of Andy Roddick, Venus Williams, Serena Williams and even Federer, there were plenty of motives to fuel rivalries that took place on and off the court. Some players have come and gone and it is difficult to compare players of different eras in any sport to higher fitness standards and technology changes, selecting a greatest player ever can be a difficult and very subjective task but today the sport of tennis is mostly run by Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.

The child prodigy has effectively disappeared in tennis, making it very difficult to establish the top teenage candidate in tennis today. Not long ago, teenagers ruled the sport, Martina Hingis was ranked number 1 in the world at the age of 16 and Bjorn Borg, Boris Becker and Rafael Nadal owned two Grand Slams Titles apiece while they were still in their youth.

That being said it is better to focus on the future, there are several who may emerge in the near future  but you just have to dig a little deeper to find them, so here is a list of 7 young athletes how might reach the top of the tennis world in no time.
