Considered to be one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, with over 40 years dedicated to wrestling, Ric Flair holds the title of World Champion for 16 times.

Although Flair thinks of himself as a 21-times world champ according to this challenge towards Hulk Hogan:

While wrestling for various organizations, NWA (National Wrestling Alliance), WCW (World Championship Wrestling), WWF (World Wrestling Federation, later renamed to WWE) and TNA (Total Nonstop Action Wrestling), Flair managed to become the NWA Champion for eight times (September 1981, November 1983, May 1984, August 1986, November 1987, May 1989, January 1991 and July 1993), the WCW Champion six times (January 1991, December 1993, April 1994, December 1995, February 1996, March 1999 and May 2000) and the two-time WWF Champion (January 1992 and September 1992).

Ric Flair, after being the first to win the WCW World Championship in 1991, also became the first WCW Triple Crown Champion. Years later, in 2005, upon winning the Intercontinental Championship, Flair got the honour of holding the WWE Triple Crown title, thus becoming the third man to hold both the WCW and the WWE Triple Crown (Bret Hart being the first).

Leave it to Ric Flair to make it into the WWE Hall of Fame Twice!

Flair won his WWF Champion title in January 1992 as part of the Royal Rumble, thus making him the only wrestler to do so. Flair’s uniqueness extended to WWE Hall of Fame as well. He was first inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2008 by Triple H.

Four years later, in 2012, Flair managed to make it to the WWE Hall of Fame again, now as part of “The Four Horsemen” along Barry Windham, “The Enforcer” Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard and James J. Dillon. To this day, Flair is the only wrestler to make it on WWE’s Hall of Fame twice.

To this day it is unknown when Ric Flair, the 65 year old wrestler will really leave the ring behind him. He seems to have an unlimited supply of energy:
