Celebrity singers Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo formed a couple until September this year and they’ve been dating for three years. There is a lot of rumors going on about the reason why they split up but the main reason seems that Jason wasn’t prepared for marriage, while Jordin was.
Pressure of marriage drove Jason away
Back in 2013, Jason released the song called Marry Me, in which video Jordin appears. Apparently after the song came out, so did a lot of pressure coming not only from Jordin but from all around. Jason said on air to Ryan Seacrest that there was a lot of tension in the relationship for a lot of different reasons,” “Every relationship has ups and downs. There was a lot of pressures of marriage. There was a lot of arguing and stuff like that that just weighed on our relationship over time. When you stop having more good times than bad times, it’s time to call it quits. It becomes something that is unhealthy.”
What is sure is the fact that Jordin isn’t quite happy with their break-up, since she even doesn’t want to comment about Jason’s cheating, leaving us with a question mark over our heads whether he did cheat on her or not. Jordin even released a song called “How about now” that is clearly referring to Jason’s decision of breaking up with her.

What is more is that Jason didn’t even talked to her face to face about the break-up, he made the decision while talking on the phone with Jordin because he “wasn’t in town”. When asked about the BMW that Jason gave to Jordin, the female singer told Wendy Williams in her show that “he can keep it”. She also said that “I’m good, actually…I read this quote , and it said, ‘When something unexpected happens in your life, or you think something bad happens, just say ‘Plot twist!’ and move on.'”
Whether the two will discuss about the details of their break-up or they will stand their ground we yet seek to find out. Until then Jordin is working on her new role in the movie Left Behind which features her as a single mother who lost her child.
