Dj Calvin Harris has confirmed that he and singer Rita Ora do no longer form a couple. It was Calvin who decided to end up their relationship by tweeting “To address speculation – myself and Rita ended our relationship some time ago. She is a beautiful, talented woman & I wish her all the best — Calvin Harris”. Rita was aware that they were already growing apart but was shocked when she saw the tweet along with everybody else.

She tweeted afterwards “I don’t usually address speculation but I’ve had an incredible time w Calvin,& I will treasure the memories,” and later on she added “I’ve moved on from this topic so I hope people will respect that and do the same.”
The couple broke up for a few weeks in January after dating for about a year but then they finally called it quits. Rita was in a relationship before Calvin, with American television personality Rob Kardashian but their relationship ended because the singer was accused of dating other men.
In May, Rita talked about the ups and downs of the long-term relationships saying that “I’m not a fan of long distance relationships,” she said “If you had a choice, you want that person with you. It makes me pretty sad. But you work with what you’ve got.”

A few months back when Rita was allegedly dating Calvin, rumors appeared about the relationship between Rita and singer Justin Bieber and whether they are professionally involved or is there something more. The British singer and Justin appeared to be very affectionate, Rita siting in Justin’s lap and he giving her back rubs. We don’t know how Calvin felt about this or whether he has resentments judging by the fact that he prevented her in the last minute to perform the song I Will Never Let You Down at the Teen Choice Awards.
Whether the couple’s break-up was on good terms or not, we know a thing for sure. They made a decent announcement and Rita actually said that she still adores him although she is still not doing great, but better than she thought.
