Regardless if you follow Hollywood news or not, you must know that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been one of the most beloved celebrity couples. Everybody was shocked when the rumors started to spread about their breakup. Now, its official, they are getting a divorce.

Even though the couple seemed happy, they have spent a considerable time apart in the last year. This was mainly due to filming schedules, as both of them have been working on different projects. They have been rarely seen together in public.

Despite this, they always looked happy and it seemed that they loved one another. They also adopted six children in the twelve years that they have been together. After only two years of marriage, Angelina has submitted the divorce papers on September 19, 2016.

According to Angie, she wanted the divorce because she felt like Brad did not have the right parenting skills that are required when it comes to raising six children. In addition to this, Brad allegedly has alcohol abuse and anger problems. Angelina stated that she thinks that the divorce is going to be beneficial for the family, even though she only wants Brad to have legal and not physical custody over the children.

Unfortunately, all divorces are hard for the children, especially celebrity ones. The attention of paparazzi and the media can be hard to bear.  The only thing that we can hope for is that Angelina is right and that this decision is going to provide a better environment for the children to live and grow up in.
